Cremation questions

Again, as I have stated before, when I receive unusual questions or inquiries, I will share them...

Just this week, I received an inquiry of where to purchase a "study book" for the cremation process....

Now my response to this was one of curiosity of course.  Why do you wish to know? And is there a specific reason you want to have a "study book"?

The answer one even better than the question!  I am curious to see if I could learn how to cremate and assist with a family member's cremation when they die.

Now this answer lead to us finally exchanging a telephone number and I contacted the person immediately to inquire of the questions and to my amazement, it was a lady to whom I was returning the call to.  It turns out her thoughts were simple, she figured if she knew how to perform the process herself it would eliminate her concern of knowing it was actually her relative's body that was being cremated....

Wasn't quite sure where the conversation was going to head from there, but i explained the details of our oversight and the fact in which one had to be a licensed Technician to perform cremation, we actually have our cremation facility on-site and she could witness the process go forward and this satisfied her need...  I can only imagine what people think about who do not send their questions to us!!
